Stalking the shadow of Taxi Driver

Its the end of March but the wind still is cold. But at least its sunny.

I had an appointment near the Columbus Circle. After reading the blog about locations in the film "Taxi Driver" last week, i was satisfied enough not to actually go visit those locations. But i was already up there at Columbus Circle, so might as well, i thought I'd check out some of the spots used in the film. So here are some photos i took. I was not brave enough to climb up on the statue and get in trouble to get the exact same shot.

Apple pie with a melted slice of yellow cheese. The cafe Betsy and Travis went is Duane & Reade now.

Then I went down to Union Square to buy something. When i finished, it still was early and sunny. So i thought I might as well would walk down several blocks to see the whore house street location, too.
